These specimens of Mangano Calcite are cut into obelisk shaped crystal towers and are a beautiful semi-opaque pale pink color with prominent stripes or banding that can be seen from beneath their smooth glass-like surface, making them wonderful display pieces.
Calcite can be found all over the world and in many different colors depending on its mineral inclusions; Mangano Calcite gets its color from a small concentration of manganese and is generally distinguished from other Pink Calcite by its soft pink hue and abundant crystal layers.
