Our hearts a flutter over these vintage butterflies!
Based on an engraving by Jacob Hoefnagel, these fluttering creatures are a part of his bound volume Archetypa studiaque patris Georgii Hoefnagelii, published in 1592. This Tattly was created as part of the licensing partnership with the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. Learn more about our partnership in our interview with Gregory Jecmen, an Associate Curator of Old Master Prints and Drawings at the National Gallery of Art.
Tattly are safe and non-toxic, lasting on average 2-4 days. We suggest placing on oil-free areas where skin does not stretch and keep them clean!
