These vintage sweetheart engraved lockets are beautiful and filled with personality. Soldiers in the 1940's took Prince Albert’s original romantic gesture and cue and cut out heart-shaped photographs of themselves intended to be worn by their paramours until they returned from distant shores. A modern day definition of (a) relationship long distance that is now passed from one romantic generation to the next.

#1 I Love You Rose (1960's-1970's) This locket has a lovely raised edges with floral designs. The words "I Love You" and a beautiful rose are engraved on the face of this piece. This piece is just the locket, does not include a chain. 1/20 14k Goldfill. Measures 0.9" by 0.75"
#2 Floral Art Nouveau (1950's-1960's) This piece features stunning Art Nouveau designs. Blush florals and green leafs demand the attention of this locket. The Diamond stamp with the letter M on the back of this piece tells us it was made by the Marathon Company. This company established in 1897 was know for creating high quality heirloom jewelry. This piece is just the locket, does not include a chain. 14k Goldfill. Measures 0.75" by 0.6"
#3 Forever In My Heart (1960's-1970's) This locket has a lovely raised edges with floral designs. The words "Forever in my Heart" are engraved on the face of this piece with a pink and green colored rose to its side. This piece is just the locket, does not include a chain. 1/20 10k Goldfill. Measures 0.8" by 0.75"
#4 I Love You Silver Hearts (1960's-1970's) This piece features Art Nouveau swirls and florals along its edges. The words "I Love You" are engraved on the face of this piece with a pink and green colored rose flower to its side and two silver hearts below it. This piece is just the locket, does not include a chain. Gold plated over .925 sterling silver. Measures 1" by 0.75"
