A deeply carved tortoiseshell-glass cameo — a classical female profile in warm amber and brown — suspends from an ornate filigree bail on a long gold-tone bar link chain punctuated by faceted amber glass barrel beads. The 1928 Jewelry Company, founded in 1968, built its identity entirely around Victorian revival aesthetics, and this piece is among their most accomplished expressions of that sensibility. At 28" the chain wears as an opera-length statement, the pendant settling low with quiet gravity.
