These vintage sweetheart engraved lockets are beautiful and filled with personality. Soldiers in the 1940's took Prince Albert’s original romantic gesture and cue and cut out heart-shaped photographs of themselves intended to be worn by their paramours until they returned from distant shores. A modern day definition of (a) relationship long distance that is now passed from one romantic generation to the next.

The 1928 Jewelry Company, founded in 1968, built its identity entirely around Victorian revival aesthetics, and this piece is among their most accomplished expressions of that sensibility. Add a touch of vintage Hollywood glamour to your wardrobe with this exquisite pair of Art Deco dress clips. These geometric "shield" style clips were the ultimate multi-taskers of the 1930s and 40s, designed to transform any neckline into a statement piece.

Each clip features a shimmering array of pavé-set round and baguette rhinestones, capturing the architectural beauty of the period. Unlike traditional brooches, these clips feature a secure, hinged paddle back with "teeth" designed to slide onto the edge of a garment without piercing the fabric.

Styling Inspiration:
In their heyday, these were worn symmetrically on either side of a square neckline, at the points of a collar, or even clipped to the corners of a pocket or the edge of a hat. Today, they remain a favorite for bridal accents, evening wear, or as unique vintage additions to a modern blazer.

The rose is sculpted with genuine attention: petals spiral inward, leaves are individually veined, and the composition feels less like costume jewelry and more like a miniature still life.
