A hinged gold-shell bangle, hand-engraved with a flowing floral motif that fades into a polished, unadorned band. Signed by J. F. Sturdy and Sons, a maker known for quality rolled-gold pieces at the turn of the century, with a patent mark dating to 1905. The push-button clasp still closes securely, a small mechanical detail that has outlasted the century. A substantial, wearable antique with real history behind it.
