A large aqua stone sits at the center of this pendant like a pool of clear seawater, ringed with a halo of faux seed pearls. It dates to the 1950s–1960s and is made in the Victorian revival style. The pierced frame is built from curling scrolls and small shell motifs, with four turquoise-blue rhinestones set at the corners. The openwork keeps it light enough to wear every day, and the color and detail give it the feel of an heirloom.
