An octagon-shaped pendant in the Spanish damascene tradition, with a pair of gold birds in flight among a spray of flowers and leaves, hand-etched into a hand-etched black steel ground. The gold inlay work is dense and detailed for the pendant's small scale, bordered with a fine gold line tracing the octagon's edge. Simple bail, unmarked.
