Repeating X-shaped links connect end to end in a continuous chain, each one cast with fine parallel ribbing across both bars of the cross and edged with a thin silver tone outline that gives the whole bracelet a quietly two-tone quality. The links are substantial without being heavy — there's enough presence to catch light from multiple angles as the wrist moves, and enough flexibility that the bracelet drapes rather than sits stiff. The X-link or cross-link bracelet was a dominant format in gold tone costume jewelry through the late 1980s , when geometric chain styles with textural surface detail were a wardrobe standard. A box clasp with safety tab closes it securely. Unsigned and in great condition.
