A slender twisted rope chain suspends a sculptural Hercules knot at its center — the knot itself cast with the same rope texture as the chain, so the whole piece reads as one continuous material rather than chain plus pendant. The knot is compact and dimensional, catching light differently depending on the angle, while the rope chain on either side is fine enough to disappear against the wrist and let the knot do the work. The Hercules or love knot has been a jewelry standard since antiquity, and Avon brought it into the mainstream through the 1970s and 1980s in exactly this format: delicate scale, warm gold tone, rope chain, spring ring clasp. There's a small tag stamped Avon where the extender connects to the clasp end — present and legible. Signed and in great condition.
