An open filigree frame of pierced gold-tone metal surrounds a glassy amber cabochon, its radiating lines catching light the way only old glass does. The rectangular silhouette with scalloped edges, floral accents, and small paste details at each blossom center places this firmly in the Art Deco transitional period — a moment when Victorian ornament was being stripped back but not yet abandoned. The pin back is a roller catch style consistent with 1920s–1930s manufacture, and the condition throughout is remarkably clean.
