Description:
A small porcelain cabochon painted with red roses, blue forget-me-nots and yellow blossoms sits at the heart of an ornate antiqued gold-tone frame. Two figures flank it, a cherub peeks from the scrollwork below, and a palmette leaf crowns the top. It hangs from a repoussé swirl connector on a textured cable chain. ART, the Arthur Pepper company, specialized in this romantic Victorian revival style through the 1960s–1970s. It’s a little garden held in a gilded frame.
