Description:
A polished green jade bead rests in the curve of an inner ring, cradled by a fan of twisted rope filigree that sweeps out like ripples on water. A second ring encloses it all, and the whole design reads like a small sun rising over a gold horizon. Pairing gold-filled wirework with jade was a mid-century favorite, and this piece has the clean, graceful lines typical of the 1960s. It sits lightly at the collarbone on a fine curb chain.
