Two moonlike discs of mother of pearl rest among stamped gold-tone leaves, blossoms, and clusters of faux pearls, like a garden caught under a full sky. Made in the 1950s–1960s, this brooch follows the layered, hand-assembled style made famous by Miriam Haskell. Aurora borealis rhinestones catch light between the petals, and an openwork filigree leaf forms the back. Rich in detail, easy to wear on a coat lapel, scarf, or hat.
