Vintage Movado Ladies Watch

Description
A small round Movado dial set in a sculpted gold-tone case, its fluted leaf shoulders unfolding like petals around the face. This 1940s–1950s cocktail watch has a soft white dial with gold-tone Arabic numerals, framed by scrolled lugs that flow into a wheat-leaf expansion band. Founded in Switzerland in 1881, Movado made watches of fine craftsmanship long before its later Museum dial designs. It is a delicate mid-century piece with real presence on a small wrist. Untested.
