A large emerald-cut stone in saturated ruby red, framed by twisted rope bands in antiqued gold tone. The blackened recesses deepen the gold, giving the piece the weight of a small heirloom. Open scrollwork on the gallery lets light through from beneath. The adjustable band makes it easy to fit, and it wears as boldly as it looks.
