Description
An oval of soft cream enamel sits at the center of this brooch like a pale moon framed by silver lace. It dates to the 1970s and is styled in the Victorian revival manner. The diamond-shaped frame is built from curling scrolls with beaded edges and finished with fleur-de-lis points at all four corners. Small textured triangles around the center add quiet detail. It is light and easy to wear on a lapel, a scarf, or the collar of a cardigan.
