Description
A beveled diamond frame of gold scrollwork holds a small fan-shaped drop that sways at its center, like a pendulum marking quiet time. Made in Spain in the 1960s–1970s, the pendant carries the Toledo damascene tradition of gold and silver inlaid against a black ground. The layered frame and moving center give it depth and gentle motion as it catches the light. Geometric yet softly ornate, it layers beautifully with gold chains.
