Description
A Victorian bracelet from the 1880s–1890s, made from a length of double rope chain gathered through a sliding rectangular station. The slide and both end caps are engraved with leaves in soft multi-tone gold, in the manner of the watch chain slides worn at the time. More than a century of wear has given the rose-tinted gold fill a warm, mellow glow. It drapes loosely on the wrist and moves like fine cord.
