Description
At the center of this Victorian necklace, a filigree blossom opens like a small star, with fine hand-twisted wire spiraling through every petal. It was made in the 1880s–1890s, a period when filigree was one of the most prized forms of craftsmanship. Teardrop links lead out to two smaller flowers, each set with a single glowing red stone. A filigree drop hangs below the center bloom, and the whole piece rests in a soft V at the neckline. More than a century old, it is still light, open and easy to wear.
