Description
A 1940s–1950s wooden bangle wrapped in a band of micro mosaic inlay, the pattern built from tiny squares of light and dark wood. Arches and small cross forms repeat around the circumference like a woven border or a line of distant hills. The technique recalls Tunbridge-style marquetry, where slender wood rods are bundled and sliced to form a design. Slim and light on the wrist, it wears easily alone or in a stack.
