Description
A 1970s cocktail ring centered on a pear-cut stone in deep amber, warm as honey held to the light. A halo of clear rhinestones follows the teardrop outline, each set in its own small collet. The mount is 18 karat heavy gold electroplate, a finish widely used for costume jewelry of the decade. The tall, open gallery lets light pass through the stone from behind.

Materials
18KT heavy gold electroplate over base metal, glass stone, rhinestones
