Description
A soft green cabochon, clouded like moss under water, rests inside a ring of clear rhinestones and a scalloped frame of twisted gold-tone rope. A 1980s–1990s piece in the Victorian Revival manner, drawing on the ornate halo pendants of an earlier century. The openwork border keeps the pendant light, and the setting is open at the back so the stone meets the light. It hangs on a fine rope chain at an easy everyday length.
